The pictures are plenty and of high quality. The somewhat limited amount of text deals mainly with concept and layout and not so much with construction techniques and materials. Twenty-three houses from around the world are featured. This is a good coffee table book. However, if this is what minimalist architecture is then it might not be for the typical future home builder looking for unique but livable concepts (ala the not so big house).
